On May 9, 2025, the Renegades—owned by our founder, Udonis Haslem—claimed their third Battle Court Championship title in the World Jai-Alai League (WJAL). In a high-stakes match against the Fireballs, the Renegades delivered a thrilling performance at Miami’s Magic City Fronton, solidifying their status as one of the most successful teams since the league’s relaunch.

But what made this victory even more meaningful was what followed: a $40,000 donation from the league to the Udonis Haslem Foundation.

This generous contribution—part of the WJAL’s commitment to community impact—will directly support our ongoing efforts to uplift underserved neighborhoods across South Florida. From mental health resources and educational access to economic empowerment and mentorship programs, this gift helps us keep pushing forward on our mission to ensure that every family has the tools to thrive.
