On August 10th 2025, the Udonis Haslem Foundation proudly celebrated 20 years of impact with a special Fish Fry & BBQ at Amelia Earhart Park. The afternoon was packed with delicious food, popcorn, slushies, music from our DJ, a bounce house, and plenty more for everyone to enjoy. From noon to 5 PM, the celebration brought together family, friends, and the community for a day filled with good vibes, laughter, and lasting memories.
As we reflect on 20 years, we are incredibly proud of our community, grateful for the many people who have supported us along the way, and forever thankful to our OG, Udonis Haslem, whose leadership and dedication have been the backbone of our foundation.
Udonis “UD” Haslem is more than a three-time NBA Champion and Miami Heat legend — he’s a hometown leader whose authenticity and heart for community have always defined him. Growing up in Liberty City, UD understood struggle firsthand, and from the earliest days of his career he made giving back a priority. What began as a simple effort to help children in need grew into UD Kids, and eventually into today’s Udonis Haslem Foundation.
At the Udonis Haslem Foundation, we create opportunity and hope through programs in education, coding and robotics, mental health, affordable housing, and small business development. Inspired by UD’s own journey, our mission is simple: to uplift, empower, and level the playing field for the communities that raised us.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and has supported our journey. Here’s to the next 20 years of impact, growth, and community together!
